Welcome to the Schwippy Bot homepage


The Schwippy bot is an AOL Instant Messenger bot with many capabilities. You can use it to check status of your Schwippy forum account to see if you have any messages, see how many posts have been made since you last visited, play the forum games, and more. It also has the capability to integrate into your MySpace account to do things that you can not usually do in MySpace. Things such as post the same comment to all your friends at the same time, or send out a private message to all your friends. The Schwippy bot also lets you post bulletins instantly without having to log into MySpace in the first place.

To use the features of the Schwippy bot, you must register your information that it uses to function. The bot will not function correctly unless you give it the required information to do so.

Function Reference

-forum_stats Shows you general information on your Schwippy forum account. You will recieve how many posts have been made since your last visit, and also if and how many new private messages you have been sent.

Note: Use -stats for combined stats of all catagories (see Misc section below)
-forum_advanced_stats

(TBA) 		Shows more detailed forum stats. Along with the above, you will also recieve how many posts you have ever made.... (more to be added)
-forum_games_associations

(TBA) 		Forum Minigames: Associations. You will be sent the last message that was posted on the forums. You would reply by saying the first word that comes to your mind. By replying, you are making a post on the forums in your forum name. (See the forum for more details)
-forum_games_lls

(TBA) 		Forum Minigames: Last Letter Standoff. You will be sent the last message posted in the Last Letter Standoff minigame. Your task is to start your message with the last letter that the previous message ended with. (See the forum for more details)
-forum_games_above

(TBA) 		Forum Minigames: Person Above You. You will be sent the name of the last person that posted in this forum. All you need to do is make a comment about that person. Your comment will be posted and your name will be up next for others to say something about. (See the forum for more details)
-myspace_stats Returns your MySpace statistics. Tells you if you have new messages, new comments, and new picture comments.

-myspace_bulletin suject :: text This will post a bulletin on your MySpace account for you. To use this function, simply replace subject with the subject of your bulletin, and text with your actual bulletin. Make sure that these two things are seperated by two colons (::). An example would be as follows:

-myspace_bulletin This is my subject :: This is my really cool bulletin! Wow!
-myspace_comment text

(TBA) 		This command will issue whatever you type for text to all your friends on your friends list. This process will take a while, therefor, you will only be sent a confirmation that the process has started. To get an estimate on how long it will take, figure that it requires about 4 seconds per friend. An example follows:

-myspace_comments Hey! Just dropping by to say hello :)

Note: Basic users are only able to send to the top 8 friends, and not all people on their friends list. To become an advanced member, please contact Brian (aka Plasma2002) on the forums.
-myspace_message subject :: text

This will get all your friends in your friend list and send them a private message defined by whatever you put in for subject and text. Seperate the two fields by two colons (::) Just as the myspace_comment command, this will take a while, so you will only be informed that the process has started. Again, figure about 4 seconds per friend. An example follows:

-myspace_message Whats up! :: Hey, what have you been up to lately?

-help Display general information about the bot and a list of commands. Also a link to this page for further help and function reference.
-stats Combines all stats into one command. Currently, forum posts and MySpace stats are returned in one message with links.
-refresh This will refresh all your personal information. If you changed your info and the bot is not using the new information, use this command.
-md5 word_or_sentence This will hash your word_or_sentence using md5 and return your hash. If you dont know what this means, then this command would probably be useless to you :)
-demd5 hash This will reverse lookup a dictionary word with an MD5 hash of hash. If you dont know what this means, then this command would probably be useless to you :)
